Hey everyone! So, it’s probably no surprise I hang out with Paul all the time. Fun fact: I’ve known this cool kid since we were 4 years old! Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before but oh well. These photos are from back in April, which was quite a while ago but better late than never right? I’m always wanting to share my photos with y’all! Anyway, we decided to go on an adventure around the Bluestar one evening and just had fun with our spontaneous photoshoot! As always, let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy! xo

Bubble Gun Fun

Hey everyone! So a few weeks ago, my niece Ashtynn was over and we decided to have a spontaneous bubble photoshoot! This little girl is always down to have her photos taken and she’s such a little ball of fun when we take photos (until she’s over it and turns evil). Anyway, the lighting this evening was so perfect and beautiful and I was so excited about it! I hope you enjoy and be sure to let me know your thoughts! ๐Ÿ™‚

Life Update

Hi guys! So… I just graduated! And I’m pretty bummed about it. At first, I was really excited because no more projects, no more stress, no more school… you know. But now that I think about it, I’m bummed because I have no more projects (and not so much bummed about the stress part). School was a good thing for me because it kept me working and in a constant groove of creativity. I’m a little worried about losing that but I’m going to try my best to keep at all my artistic talents even though school is over. That being said, I have been working on editing quite a few photos from recent shoots I had. Back in October, I took photos of my friend Paula Cortez and her band. Of course I had so much to deal with in school at this time so I never got around to editing them. With school being done now, I had the time to work on them. I also photographed two of my good friends for their graduation portraits and the lovely girls of KDChi at Our Lady of the Lake University. Links to my website for each shoot will be down below and for now, here are some previews! ๐Ÿ˜€ I hope you enjoy!

Familiar Silhouettes

Again, long time no post. I have a good reason for it though! I have been running around like crazy the past few weeks getting everything finished for my thesis show. It was complete madness and I ran into multiple problems. Nonetheless, I got everything finished and installed in the gallery in time. It was such an awesome and rewarding feeling to see another semester’s worth of hard work completed, but this time on a gallery wall! Today was the last day to see it so if you missed out, your loss! :p But really, there were so many amazing artists in this show that created amazing pieces and it was all definitely worth checking out! If you didn’t get a chance to go, then click here and check out what I had in the show. It won’t be the same experience though (sad face) but I would still love to share my work with you.

Paula Cortez EP Promos

Hey guys! So, with school starting up again and what not it’s been both easy and hard to get into the groove of things. I’m in my last semester of school so I’m about to put all I have into my thesis work for my show at the end of the semester (which you should totally come to.. cough cough). So, in the midst of trying to get organized with all the photos I have, and trust me I have lots, I figured I should probably get to editing the promo shots of little miss Paula Cortez for her new EP! I mentioned this shoot a few weeks ago in another post and just recently Paula was in the studio to record her EP! Be sure and support her when it’s all finished! But in the mean time, enjoy these few photos and click HERE to see more! Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ™‚ and have a great day!

Maternity Shoot

So last month, I had the honors of doing Gabby’s maternity photos! For this being my first maternity shoot, I was super excited! It was really hot, as it always is in Texas, but she was a trooper. I’m a little late posting these because just a few days ago, Gabby and Francisco welcomed baby Emma into the world! But, better late than never! Hope you enjoy them and check out more photos from her shoot here!

Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a while and that makes me sad. I need to get back in the groove of things! Anyway, my dear old friend Paula is working on releasing an EP pretty soon. She’s such a sweet girl and has a pretty awesome voice! It’s always so much fun taking pictures of her because she will laugh at literally anything I say or do. You should definitely check out her music at http://www.youtube.com/sayheypaula and enjoy this behind the scenes shot from today! Be on the lookout for her EP and photos soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Self "Segmented" Portrait

Of course I had to test out my idea on myself first! It was a bit challenging though because I had to stand in one spot the whole time and I don’t have a shutter release remote or cable. So, I went to the next best thing: my boyfriend! Props to him for getting some decent pictures & knowing next to nothing about taking photos. Now, hopefully, you guys can get a better idea of what I’m trying to accomplish here! Let me know if you want to be a part of it!
